Kingfisher Airlines – really cheap airlines

Dear Sir,

I am writing this email after very much disappointed with your airline service.

I had reservation from Indore to Delhi on 22-June-2009 by KINGFISHER AIRLINE Depart at 20:10 and Arrive Delhi at 21:50. It reach Delhi late by 3 hour at around 23:40 and by the time I collect the bag and reach the International airport I got late by 10 minute by gate closing time for Air India flight to Frankfurt- New York at 1:10 and missed the flight.

Even though I mentioned at Indore Airport and inside the Aircraft about getting late for International flight at Delhi but nothing was done.

Once I reached the Delhi Domestic terminal I mentioned about my problem to your staff about getting late in connection and need some personal help to expedite the baggage claim and transportation to international airport. I was told that your airline have counter in International airport and would help me in case I missed the flight.

I took the private taxi to reach the Air India counter on International airport and gate was close by 10 minutes (24:10). So I asked Air India counter supervisor to re-booking the flight with other airline and they told me to contact Kingfisher for the same because this delay was caused by Kingfisher airline and not by Air India.

I approached to Information desk and they contact to Kingfisher staff at departure terminal but no one willing to talk on phone or come personally to help me. They also tried to contact the domestic airport Kingfisher supervisor for the same but no help was given.

I had no option then buying another one way ticket with different airline for Rs. 33927 (EITHAD Airline) EY211/EY101 to New York.

If I would have given some help from Kingfisher Staff to resolve the issue with Air India staff about paying penalty and difference in fare for rebooking the flight on next day would saved me lot\’s of money.

Your staff should always try and find me the next available flight. And it\’s a shame that your staffs weren\’t able to re-protect me onto any other flight. Its look like your staff is not trained to be as helpful and friendly as possible. I would expect some one from your staff to make judgment call to resolve this matter on spot.

I would expect from your airline to reimburse me Rs33927 for the amount I paid due to late in arrival of your airline at Delhi Domestic airport.

I am also sending you copy of ticket details.

Air India poor service is responsible for losses

Hello sir,

Now that it is publicly known that Air India is in loss, it should not come as a surprise. i am a frequent flyer and i have faced the rude staff a number of times. Delays in flight, flight cancellation, not allowing to board flight etc are some of the great experiences handed down by air India to its esteemed customers. I request the govt to dissolve this rude illbehaved company and not waste public money on it.

Terrible experience on Jet Airways

I have waited 24 hours before writing this mail primarily to see if I still feel as strongly about the way I was humiliated by your Mumbai airport staff on 5th June . My name is Anil Pant and I happen to unfortunately be a Jet Privelege Platinum card holder ( 116067475 ) . I was booked to fly on flight number 9W 2002 from Mumbai to Chennai @ 9.00 AM. On checking in I was taken aback when I was told by the person at the check in counter that as a Jet Privelege Platinum card holder I was not eligible to use the airport lounge on this flight since it was a cheaper flight option introduced by you. I was a little confused as I was not booked on Jet Lite and I always fly only Jet Airways when possible.

I asked to speak to the supervisor a lady called Aaart and her duty manager Ms Teresa. When I spoke to them I told them that I was not aware of the fact that I was booked on Jet Konnect as I would consciously not have traveled on a budget airline. I was only told very curtly that “ You have been informed about all this. “ I specifically told both these ladies that I was extremely unwell and that I needed to use the lounge for resting. I can safely say that I have never met people who are more politely rude than your staff. They kept insisting that I have been informed by your organization through E mailers. I kept telling them that nowhere in this mailer did you say that we would not be able to use lounge facilities. Instead of believing me they kept insisting that I was wrong and that I had been informed. I have attached your E Mailer on this . No where do you mention that you will not allow lounge privileges to FFP members in your mail. The fact that your staff told me that I have been informed is false and maybe you need to educate them that passengers are not foolish to make claims that can be easily refuted.

Recently you have tried to copy Kingfisher by beginning to call your passengers Guests. You seem to have forgotten that it is not enough to just copy someones mannerisms but you also need to imbibe the spirit behind the word. The people at Kingfisher truly practice the meaning of what they say while for you people it is just a word..

The term that you use for frequent fliers is Jet Privelege Programme . Let me tell you upfront that it is definitely not a privilege that I feel today to be a member of your frequent flier programme. The words that come to mind are Humiliation , insult etc when I associate myself with your programme today.

The crowning glory of your airline has been experienced by me today when I try to telecheck in on my connecting flight 9W 465 from Chennai to Bangalore . I am told very conveniently that the flight is cancelled and if you want you can go on the earlier flight at 5.00 PM . I specifically booked this flight because I had a reception to attend at 7.00 PM and now I have to cancel that. The answer that I got when I contacted your reservation is that you have been already informed and that it is your problem.

Unfortunately in India we don’t have very strong consumer rights else you would not have dared to take consumers so lightly. While I know a single consumer cant make much difference I am going to make an attempt . As a first step I will stop using your airline. I also intend to post this mail on as many consumer oriented blogs that I can find. Let me reassure you folks that the days when you could take someone for granted are over. You would see the power of connectivity very soon.

Your airline and staff should be ashamed of themselves for mistreating passengers and for so callously taking us for granted. I am reasonably sure that you will bury this mail in your rubbish heap but I promise you that this mail will come back to you from the many websites that I intend to post this on.

WRONG INFORMATION PROVIDED BY MAKEMYTRIP ONETICKET

I bought two tickets through MAKEMYTRIP.COM From NewDelhi to kualalumpur via chennai (eticket no-589-3533167641 and eticket no-589-3533167642).I clearly mentined makemytrip that return date is not known and i will require to change it.Both verbal and written commitment were made by makemytrip vide email by miss Sanchita Acharjee. It was clearly mentioned on etickets that return date can be changed with a penalty of Rs 750. When I reached Kualalumpur they refused to abide by what is written on there eticket.
They said that agent(makemytrip.com) is responsible.
I had to pay USD 260 for a fault which was not mine.

Indian Airlines – Missed Connecting flight because of delay in indian airlines flight and ticket amount also not reimbursed, infact forced to buy the ticket for next flight and also pay for the accommodation

I had a Indian Airlines Flight from Lucknow which got delayed by almost 2 hours because of which I missed my connecting Indigo Flight from New Delhi.
Almost 8-9 people missed the flight inspite of assurences given by Indian Airlines Staff at Lucknow Airport before boarding the flight. Since, i had a Indigo Flight, I was forced to buy the next flight ticket which was only in the morning and that too at full rates. Moreover, I had to pay for accommodation also for the night for no fault of mine.
I expect the arlines management to understand and get my money reimbursed ASAP.
