		<description>Normally in case of replacement of a product, the new product carries warranty only for the remainder of the period from the date of original purchase. So your warranty period expired in decenmber 2008 irrespective of whether you replaced the battery or not.

But this does not mean that the company is not answerable. If they have replaces the battery earlier it means that their are certain issues with the product. Please file a case in the consumer court of your district.</description>
