I purchased a voltas vertis + AC from M/s JK Electricalsm Sector 18 Noida, on 13 May. After I made full payment, a sealed carton was sent to my home on a rickshaw. Their team came to install. After installation, when they were pushing the AC in, I noticed the iron grill / mesh in front of cooling coils was dented. Apparently it had suffered the damage BEFORE packing, because the front panel was OK. As the unit came in a sealed package, I could not notice earlier. Had I noticed, I would not have purchased a defective piece. God knows what else BEHIND the grill had also been damaged.
I therefore asked the dealer to replace the piece. Now since he had the money already with him, he passed off the responsibility to Voltas and advised me to speak to them.
I have launched numerous complaints to VOLTAS. Unfortunately, despite their mechanics having examined and reporting noisy compressor and remote NoT working, NO action has been taken to replace the piece.
I am stuck with a sub standard AC. It is defective. Their Quality Control and the dealer who sold the piece, are guilty of cheating me and passing off a defective piece. I dont trust VOLTAS anymore and want the piece RETURNED. I also want them to compense me for the harassment.
