Indian Postal Order Commission overcharged

Dear Sir,
I bought an Indian Postal Order worth Rs 50 from the post office in aggar nagar. The lady at the counter charged me RS 55 ie RS 50 plus Rs 5 commission. When I looked at the Postal order, Rs 2.50 commission was printed on it. When I enquired that the commission was less on the postal order, the lady told me that it was Rs 5 only but older rate is printed on the Postal order. However she dint write new rate anywhere on the postal order. Please tell me if the rate has increased or the post office employees are looting common people like me?

Hi, I think,they are looting the common people like us. Recently i have also faced the same problem while purchasing Rs.100/- postal order. They have taken Rs.10/- commission instead of Rs.5/-.
